P90X - it really works, and by far the best fitness program I've ever done

I decided to try the P90X last winter, after a friend told me about it. He described it as an exercise program "very intense" who "got torn." He also told me that I
get a six pack in my stomach. I do not think because I've never seen a definition (other than a small bump - not very attractive) in my stomach, no matter how much
weight I lost. But I decided to try this program in hopes it would help tone / strengthen my body.
For those of you who are not familiar with P90X, it's a 90-day fitness and nutrition program. The program is sold mainly http://www.p90xpowerdvd.com, but there are
infomercials (yuck) on television to sell the program. I never really had the infomercial before buying the program because it was recommended by a friend saw, but
after starting the program, I started to notice they are always on television.
The plan for fitness:
Videos: With respect to the plane of fitness, the program comes with 18 videos. A video is a video presentation, if you see only once. Other videos are training videos
that are used for their opposition days (muscle) and days of cardio. The bottom is "muscle confusion" P90X, if you go through the days of resistance / day AB Ripper
and cardio. The resistance of days focus on the upper or lower body "strength training" and a 15-minute Ripper, which is at the end of the video (you'll also have a
separate DVD with ab-ripper but its useless, since all use the Videos include resistance Ripper at the end of the video). Each video (also the Ripper) is approximately
1 hour and 15 minutes, although yoga is 1.5 hours (although sometimes I skipped the last 5 minutes or so when they start to retire) . In the first month, you will do
three weeks of resistance and heart, and then there is a "rest" week where you do lots of yoga, stretching and core work. The remaining week is actually very
difficult, and some think it's harder than other weeks. The only difference for the second and third month you videos of different resistance. Other than that, it's
exactly the same. The fitness plan has a calendar videos that teach you to do every day, so it is easy to follow.
Tony Horton is the "trainer", which is in all the videos and it is fun and inspiring (and stupid). Some people do not like it, but the videos with the possibility of
cutting his voice, if you do not appreciate his advice. Personally, I liked all the "isms" Tony ", the slogans" Do your best and forget the rest "include such as:" You
can do something for 30 seconds "and" Rome was not built in a day and it is your body. "So, cheese may seem like it, it really made me feel better when I was on the
edge of the task. Each video also has 2-3 "P90X graduate students, and ordinary people are friendly. The program is so great that I did jump out of bed by 5 am,
because I was very happy to work ( This is someone who prefers to crawl out of bed at 8-9 would clock). He started becoming very ridiculous, because I was woken up at
4:30 clock, and one morning I got out of bed 3:30 hour because I was awake and ready to go (my husband was ready to kill me) was. Overall, this was the most fun that I
had never prepared.
Required equipment: The equipment you need only the program are: (1) weight (I weight 5, 8, 10 and 15 pounds by hand, but I am a woman and a little wimply, if you need
more if you are a man or if you want more muscle mass), (2) a yoga mat, (3) a pull up bar or bands (I had both, because we already have a pull up bar my cellar and I
also bought "Gold's Gym" tapes at Wal-Mart) and (4), a yoga block, flexibility option, but hey, if poor. I also bought a push-up bars that are recommended by P90X and
your wrists during push-ups to help you. I ended because it made it much more difficult push-ups, and were useless.
Overall, the part of fitness training is great. http://www.p90xpowerdvd.com The website has a good overview of all the videos and I recommend spending some time on their
website, if you intend to have with this program. The videos are funny, and it's like having a personal trainer (for much less than the cost of hiring a trainer), and
you learn a lot about bodybuilding. The videos are also very good cardio. Plyometrics is like physical education, and although training jump, Tony Horton provides
features for people with knee problems (I had three knee surgeries, so I a couple of horsemen modified) changed. Yoga is excellent for strength, balance and
flexibility, which is probably one of the videos more difficult because of balancing postures. The video does cardio that I have not found beneficial was kenpo-x video
kickboxing. Although the video is funny, it was never my heart rate very high. You can read what you're doing a ton of pull-ups, but not intimidated. You can bands
(which are much easier), and Tony Horton also teaches how to modify it with a chair in the performance of pull-ups. You will still continue to be a great workout, and
I'm still not a real pull-ups.
Lean and double option: You also learn that there is an option "slim" and "double" fitness for P90X. You can buy the fitness program itself, but the option is using a
lean schedule of different training, and it is said that for people who stay slim and do more cardio. I thought it would be a good option because I wanted to go to the
gym for derived classes (and do not seek, build a lot of muscles), but was told the program key and use normal weights light. I'm glad I did, because the videos for
the uses session fitness are diverse, and I could still go a few spin classes in the evening. The "double" is for those who want an extra dose of heart in the evening
(3 times per week the days of resistance). I was in class, so it seemed to spin unncessary, but if you have energy in the evening, it's fun to heart-x video remain on
some nights.
Diet:
First, this is not a diet but it is a "regime" (somehow I feel better, I'm not on diet). The scheme requires some "planning", then you should research literature and
organize your pantry / meal before the actual start of the program. You must also intend to follow the diet as much as possible - and it works better if you set a goal
of not cheating. I have a bet with a friend I do not cheat, which helped motivate me. I do not drink alcohol for 90 days, which was probably the longest I went without
a drink since before high school (limitation period has expired I think it is now). I do not eat sweets and sugar. Strangely, I have not missed something, because the
program is so fun. In fact, told my friends who started the P90X program later me that there is "no way" they gave up alcohol, but they also stopped drinking and
eating sugar, and they also say they do not miss them all. Regardless, it's just for 90 days.
In terms of food, you will not be hungry because you eat all the time. In fact, I never ate much of my life, but it comes to food low in fat, you lose a ton of weight,
body fat /. I had been on a diet before starting the program, so I did not have much to lose weight, but I ended up losing 8-9 pounds another - which led me into one
of for women size 8 or a size of 6 2 I could have probably lost even more weight, but towards the end I started eating more carbs, because I started doing a lot of
outside Bike.
The diet is based on three phases, but it requires essentially that you eat a certain amount of protein, carbohydrate drinks, dairy products, fruits, vegetables each
and snacks, energy bars and recovery on a daily basis on the scene. The diet includes a list of options for each of these categories (eg, 3 ounces of meat equals 1
protein) and it also comes with various recipes (each recipe tells you how many proteins, carbohydrates, contains, etc. .) It is similar to Weight Watchers, people can
eat at a certain time each day. Depending on your weight, it will tell you what "level" you are. . . . if you're serious, you are at level 2 or 3, that means you eat
more of each category. The recipes in the diet are delicious. I loved the chef's salad and island pork tenderloin salad (it also has a great recipe for dressing), and
I still get the protein shake every day.
The confusing aspect of the diet has been trying to understand the difference between a recovery drink and protein shake. They are supposed to drink a recovery effort
and the plan also, you can drink protein shakes (not the recipe for a protein shake protein, 1 dairy, 1 fruit) as one of your meals. I was confused about the
difference between a protein shake and a recovery drink, but I think it is the relationship between proteins and carbohydrates. I ended up with Hammer Nutrition
Recovers my recovery drink. I also have protein shakes for breakfast (eggs, because I hate it so the best solution was) and I 100% pure whey protein isolate NOW for
the protein. For an energy bar, I found South Beach Diet Bars White Chocolate Fudge Graham Zone and pubs (you can buy at Wal-Mart for less than $ bar 1/pers). I want
to do some research before buying the P90X recovery drink and energy bars because they look expensive. They will try to sell these products if you order the videos,
and my recommendation is to decrease, unless you are absolutely sure they are a good deal are.
I found it helpful, the food that I use on a table that I eat every day (which, like many proteins, fruits, etc. included) track was eaten, and I also followed my
daily intake in calories, my weight every day activities and I've included notes on how I felt that day. I learned a lot about nutrition and calories (and spent
considerable time looking at the nutrition information in supermarkets) contain, and it was a great learning experience, the amount of calories, protein and fat in
food. For the first time in my life, I began to understand the concept of "calories consumed versus calories burned, and how it affects your body.
After 90 days:
I would never have imagined over the results I received. Not only that I have a six pack (which was totally shocked both my husband and me), but my arms are very toned
(and I could make a muscle in my biceps for the first time in my life) and I had the bad fat in my hips that I never in a position, no matter what I did exercises to
lose. I felt great, it's really the most important (even if it was to look good, good). My attitude improves and yoga stretching, and had lots of energy. It was also
clear that the program works well because many of my friends decided to buy the program after seeing my results.
Unfortunately, I have the summer off and it is a few months since I completed the program. While I was biking are my results (arm muscles and Six-Pack), is less
visible. I intend to return in a few weeks and I'm sure I eGain everything I lost over the summer months!
My recommendation:
As you can imagine, I recommend this program to all those who are motivated to get fit recommended. If you participate in any work experience / sports, maybe you
should think twice about getting involved in this program. However, if you have some work experience and who want to develop your fitness program, it is an excellent
program. You do not have to a superstar athlete program. If you http://www.p90xpowerdvd.com, you will find a wealth of information about the program. You must be warned
that the site has some pictures http://www.p90xpowerdvd.comm uscle-heads, and is looking for something "scammy. It looks a bit intimidating, but you can easily edit your
videos capacity (which I discuss in more detail below). You'll find lots of information on the Internet, how many people shared their experiences (and you will quickly
learn that all victims of this program is not already " buff ").
I also recommend the program began in winter, as you do a lot of time in the fitness videos that are not very good if the weather stay fine.
The story is that if you lose a little weight, and want to get in the best shape of your life, how it is done. It costs $ 120 plus $ 20 for shipping and handling. I
bought my items on Ebay, but end up being cheated by someone selling fakes on China (and to buy food separately, the electronic versions of calculating the pain was).
If I ever do, I'd probably just buy it on their website, but you should try to shop around if you're thrifty. So make sure you download the written material because
the videos did not help themselves. You can also sometimes this program on Craigslist. Even if you pay $ 140 to end, it will be worth every penny you
spend (and you can cancel your gym membership for that period). I would avoid buying one of the "extra" stuff they try to sell you (equipment, food products,
subscriptions to the site) can. On a final note, even if the program is a bit expensive, you'll also save a lot of money on junk food, beer and wine for more than 90
days, he may end up saving money!
